Rory Glanville is a garden designer and gardener.

Growing up in the Kent countryside, Rory spent his early days exploring the outdoors, but it was his grandmother's Spanish garden in Andalucia that ignited his passion for plants and beautiful gardens. Brimming with plants, it was a serene and secluded paradise.

Now based in London, Rory graduated from the London College of Garden Design in 2019, studying under Andrew Wilson. Prior to this he graduated with a BA in Zoology from Royal Holloway, University of London, then enjoyed 5 years with BBC Gardeners' World Magazine, writing for the website and magazine.

Following Rory's most recent graduation, Rory has been assisting Julia Wylie with garden design and development; working with Studio Ro Co on internal and external planting design; and taking on his own clients for garden and planting design.

Through his plant-led designs, Rory strives to create gardens that serve as calming refuges for people and wildlife.
